Adopt a Mastiff / Mixed (short coat)

Roscoe is a 3 year year old Mastiff mix boy who weighs 110 pounds. He is a bit reserved/shy at first, but warms up once he gets to know you. He loves to go for walks and is good on leash. Roscoe does well with other friendly female dogs of all sizes. He has also been with submissive smaller male dogs with good results. Friendly cats are ok too.
He is crate trained and will do well in a home with Mastiff or Giant Breed experience. Roscoe does have guarding issues with his food bowl and other high gain treats. He is easily redirected by using exchange. We believe he will overcome this issue in an experienced home with love and guidance. There is no adoption fee for Roscoe. We just want to find him a good home., He was a breeding male before his owner dumped him at a Philly shelter.. Roscoe is in NJ, near Philly.
